Ron Rivera told reporters that with CB Darius Butler out (concussion), Brandon Hogan will be active Sunday for the first time this season.

Awesome. Excited to finally see this guy get some reps. It's a shame that it comes with Butler out, but this is going to be cool to finally see.

gahhh...i'm so nervous.

here's hoping the dude locks down whoever he covers...and there is no communication issues....and he doesn't get hurt....and he shows that we are set at CB so we have less needs next year.

Probably the ideal time for him to return. Enough so we can see what we have in him, and he has had plenty of time to heal at this point.

The biggest thing for him, is that he needs to not play through pain, or discomfort, we don't need to win games at the expense of his and our future, at this point.

This makes me wonder if him being inactive was actually him not being 100% or him just not looking better than Stanford, Butler, or Munny.

Probably him not being 100 percent, we still needed help on special teams. And it's impossible for him to look worse than Stanford.
