It's funny, it looks more like the Canes are playing Michigan Wolverines, because of the Predators' alternate uniforms. Anyway, after a huge win against the HATED Buffalo Slugs, Carolina just doesn't have their legs under them as they take way too many penalties and basically handed the win to Nashville.

Good news is that Skinner is practicing and was on the trip with the team to Nashville. Since his injury was a concussion, that means that he is in good enough shape to fly and play in simulated games... and that is HUGE! If he wasn't completely healed, they wouldn't let him fly - high altitudes are hard on an injured brain and will prolong recovery.

5-2, Predators win.

Canes take 5 penalties and give up goals on 4. Jay Harrison scored both Canes goals, one of the PP. Peters faced 36, gave up all 5 goals. Renne faced 29, stopped 27.
