it has less to do with whether or not charlotteans "care" (many would btw), and more to do with his teammates. how many active, openly gay players can you name?

lol

yeah it would be nice

why does the tinderbox follow you?

probably no regrets. if i was a high profile gay athlete i wouldn't want to play in charlotte either

I doubt whether people in charlotte care about whether Peppers is gay or not.

Just like people in Denver won't care whether The Golden Calf of Bristol is gay or not.

...would hope we have come far enough as a society that no one should care.

There's an article about this in the ESPN mag. Talking about why the commissioners haven't "forced" a gay friendly league and encouraged players to come out. Compares this issue to the color barrier.

Probably because this is the NFL.

Men play football and females cheer for them.

If gays want to come out of the closet, let them pick up the pom poms and cheer for the real men who play on the field.

I know a lot of gay guys that played football and watch NFL/College every week. Sounds to me like someone is suppressing something....better go do something manly like...MMA

I've never been to Chicago but I would move there for a couple years just because of the Italian beef sammies.

Like others have said, I'm not sure Peppers really cares about winning a SB... he got paid, he's happy.
