Their offensive line is mediocre and their only weapon is Matt Forte. They need a new offensive coordinator, help at WR, TE, OL, HB to spell Forte, and a youth infusion on defense. I don't see them improving much on their record next year with Green Bay and Detroit in their division.

They just fired Martz.....and Martz's scheme certainly didn't aid that OL.

So they were playoff bound before injury w/ a bad OL, no WRs, no TEs, and a bad OC. That tell you things ain't that bad in Chicago. If Chicago gets healthy and makes good moves this offseason I wouldn't put Detriot as a better team (on par probably).

I believe what he said was he wanted to go to an organization with history...

But, in my guesstimation, Carolina has a better chance to win a super bowl than Chicago. And, we'll win it before peppers is out of the league.
.

do what?

Why are we talking about a Chicago Bears player in the Panthers forum. He's not on the Panthers so I don't give a poo about him or how he feels.

It's only natural to think about what it would be like if one had stayed at their previous job but I doubt he regrets leaving. He knew what he was looking for when he signed the contract. If he has any regrets I'm sure his agent could do something different for him, maybe not here but somewhere else.

This is baseless speculation.

Had Peppers stayed, our defense might have been just good enough to keep us out of last place in the league, and we might not even have Cam.

i was kinda basing it on carolina being a competitive team and potentially it making to and possibly winning a super bowl before the bears, which is usually taken into consideration when a player is being considered for the hall of fame.

And, as admitted in my original post, this is baseless. but, whatever...

And Kasay will kick the winning field goal at this year's SB and beat us both.

QB-Kerry Collins first on my list of old Panthers that I don't care what happens to them!
DE J Peppers same as but at least Collins drunk!
Feel pretty bad when folks want to turn their backs on the folks that care about them.
When is enough enough and u build something for the team because u got yours.
Sorry bleed Panther Blue and don't want either one again!
Go Panthers

He didnt make the Pro Bowl and in my opinion lost his elite status as he is just one of many who has played for and will leave Da Bears. He's an outcast with Carolina alumni, he gives nothing back, and has the personality to match how he has handled his moves. He was in a position to be a State legend before he failed to think through his actions, in 5 years he will be signing trading cards at the flea market.

I remember Peppers. He always got big cheers at BOA when he took to the field. The guy was a star player when he showed up to play. That was only about 70% of the time.
