Might be wrong but I dont think he will be eligible for the practice squad because he is in his 4th year as a pro.

Nice work.

I hate to see Connor walk because we've needed his depth so much in the past.

Also, I bet we keep Pickles around at least another year. Sad to think we'd already be releasing our 1st pick in the 2010 draft.

Love everything BUT the draft lol. Only way we get Cox is if we trade back.

Thanks Cali, I think this shows a lot of thought. So much of what we think about a player is based on whatever site we read says, so I could be very wrong about this:

It seems to me that the first six picks are reaches.

Now here comes my hypocritical side: I have said that Fletcher Cox is the best DT in the draft from what I have seen. However, I thought he would be there at the bottom of the first. I do not see a DT worthy (pun) of a top 15 pick.

Boykin is a stud and I wondered why I have seen him in the third and fourth rounds in a lotta mocks.

Posey has a problem dropping the ball. Good measurables.

Russell Wilson? I think he will not be drafted due to his size and a poor Senior Bowl. I want him as a third stringer.

I LOVE the Butler pick.

Thanks for the responses.

Will see come draft time how these guys are really valued.

Fletcher Cox is very intriguing even at 9 in my eyes. Great size but still has the build to gain more weight and still keep his athleticism. He has a rare burst when closing on a ball carrier for a defensive tackle. He is a freak athlete. He has the production and the film. He is still young with the ability to get better. He is versatile and he loves football from what Ive read. He might go higher than most people think.

Some sites had Boykins a 3rd round, some had him in the 2nd, some even had him in the 1st round. I think his injury at the end of the senior bowl hurt his stock a little because he was coming off a great senior bowl week and was unable to perform at the combine. I think that hurts him more in the publics eye but not the scouts eyes.

Devier Posey I think will be one of the better receivers out of this draft class. Has good size, speed, proven production. Impressed me a lot at the senior bowl practice.

Will see how things play out though. Always fun to predict who you would take, then check back in a year and see how you would have done.

my fav pick is Vernon he will have an impact on whatever team that drafts him. if he would have came back to Da U he would have become a 1st or 2nd round pick. not a fan of Posey dropped several balls during the senior bowl.

And Miami players do well in the NFL, while some schools like UNC and Clemson tend to disappoint. Go figure.

A few things

1. Why extend Warton and not Gamble? Or why extend Wharton at all?

2. Why did you sign 2 safeties in FA?

3. I really don't like the fact you picked a short CB in the 2nd round there should be bigger and better talent at CB in the 2nd.

4. The wr pick is also a ? mark. When was the last good O state wr Chris Carter?
