I would just like to see how we get into a position to get under the cap. That has to be first before we start approaching FA, or is that not in the Hurney Handbook? Just overpaying for our 2-14 FA's.

Carolina wont be a player in free agency early. Look for them to go through the draft and then see who shakes lose from other teams.

Most free agents look for:
Money (not the Panthers this year)
An easy winnable division (not the NFCS at all!)
A Superbowl bound team (not the Panthers this year)

...look for another DJ Hacket folks....

I think DE's and CB's looks for an offensive that could have big leads, so they have more chances to shine with sacks and interceptions.

I do believe we fall into that category, although we really dont need DE's but we could really use some vet CB's

how shocked will you be when 30 minutes into FA, Adam Schefter comes on and says the first big name is off the market. Paul Soliai has signed a 5 year deal with the Carolina Panthers..

I'd like Otagwe or Reggie Smith... or both. Perhaps Woodyard as well.

I'd love Mario Williams and Vincent Jackson, BUUUUUUUT, that isn't realistic whatsoever so I'll stick with the first list.

Solilai would be nice, but I assume Garay is more feasible.

Jim Leonhard is one guy I hope we inquire about. Stephen Cooper could be a guy we look into.

Adam Schefter ‏ @AdamSchefter
Chargers will release OT Marcus McNeill this afternoon, according to his agent, Alvin Keels.

Is Kevin Williams a free agent? I heard a while ago that the Vikings were going to release him, but I've failed to find any decent information that this has happened. After Mario Williams, I would say Kevin Williams would be my next favorite. (Maybe we could get both of them and form our own Williams wall!:D I hate we have no cap space this year)
