I'm going after a first round talent at DT, yes other players on the roster may have the size but did not have 1st round type of talent. That's why they were undrafted.

People say Brockers is raw and we'd have to wait but such a large guy with abnormally long arms could contribute tomorrow. He has the physical tools that none of our 3rd rounders from last year could match plus much much more upside.

I haven't changed my stance, yes, Brockers!

Plus he can block kicks! Yes

No doubt he will be good, but I dunno about taking him at 9. We have a really bad spot in this draft, talent falls off after the first 5-6 picks imo. Wish we could slide back to the mid teens and grab an extra 2nd or 3rd.

Alot of these picks would feel more worth it I guess.

No to Poe, yes to coples. I'd much rather have worthy in the second round if he drops

Anyone thinking we are going to take DT or DE in this draft are just brain dead retards. Hurney is not going to give up on Fun or
McClain after one year and he is not going to give up on Hardy after 2.

In this draft its either LB or CB in the first. I'm hoping CB.

Explain all the draft visits then, a LB and 4 D-Lineman, and Joe Adams too. Can almost gaurantee were gonna be taking a D-lineman this draft

Good thing we are on the message boards and not in the draft room. Jesus.

Dont really like poe at 9th.
I'm not sold on just a great combine.
Like Cox a whole lot more.
If not, trade back or take a Kirkpatrick or Kuechly at 9th if Claiborne does not fall.

i love the arguments against drafting one of the top DTs this year

on Poe: Dude he's just a workout warrior, he had a great combine, so what?

on Brockers: Dude his combine #s are terrible, we shouldn't draft him because he's too slow to play DT with a 5.36 40 yard dash

We need a more dominate pass rush. we were 25th in sacks last year. that is not good enough. we have to get more pressure on the qbs. if claiborne isnt there to fix our coverage issues, its gotta be coples.

How the hell would that fix anything? What are the ends gonna do when they get guided past the QB because he can step right up in the center of the pocket while the DTs are doing jack poo?

Hardy is a 6th round pick. It's not a matter of "giving up" on him, he was never really intended to be a starter and only is because Brown didn't pan out.

Mike Mamula

I'm thinking the teams weren't fooled by the fact he can't really play like fans and media and he's on the board a a bit longer than you'd think.
