I'd much rather see the rep than the post dots considering everyone went past that maximum long ago.

Well I've always liked to see who gave me pie and rep and after being frustrated with just saying a green "2" or some other number depending on the number of votes, I realized that I could click on it and it popped up a little window to show you who gave you those points.

Well rep was cool and negative to smack was better but deemed cruel by the mods. Idk i kinda liked the Roman era justice.

yeah the repped post stuff isn't very effective.

it's interesting how a network of reputation-building can actually lend a personalized feel to a very impersonal web-based discussion. there are senses of friendship and camaraderie that actually build on the admittedly silly concept of "just a bunch of green internet dots." rep and pie add a greater sense of belonging in a community so that users are more than just a couple of avatars and opinions. there is a greater sense of involvement and holistic participation that i feel the huddle has lost just in the last couple of days.

and i hate using words like holistic.

Agree with PhillyB, there was a sense of community....liked giving rep and making a comment that person could read....as well as seeing who gave me rep and reading what they wrote. That kind of feedback is helpful.

Zod said this site was evolving and sounds like some of the stuff we liked may be in the works. As I am using this new look....I do like it.
