All Of The Posturing On Facebook About Amendment 1 Has Gotten A Little Ridiculous

341 posts in this topic

Cantroll with his absolutes again... I voted against the amendment, but your statement is not right... some of the votes for it were rooted in bigotry and hate, not all... a lot of the votes for it were rooted in ignorance.

well since i didn't hear a single argument in favor of amendment one that wasn't founded upon bigotry and hate, you're going to have to elaborate

So you heard an argument from every single person that voted for it... Well, you must know how all those people think then, that's great.

so hey, what is an argument for the amendment that isn't founded in bigotry, fear, hatred, etc?

Didn't say there was one... He said that ALL the voters that voted for it were "rooted in bigotry and hate" but then after I called him out he changed it to "all the arguments"... Typical Cantrell.

My point is, as I stated... I'm sure some of the for voters were filled with bigotry and hate but not ALL... Some of them were just voting for it out of belief they were following their faith, or out of sheer ignorance of what they were voting for.

so basically, they were voting for it because their beliefs are bigoted and hateful, even though they themselves were not...?

i mean i guess there may have been people who didn't even know what the fug amendment one was and just randomly voted for one side or the other. but anyone who knowingly voted in favor of amendment one is a bigot. is that better?

Trolling hard tonight huh?

You made an incorrect statement, I called you out, you changed your argument (as you always seem to do) and now you're being your typical trolling self. You're still amusing, I'll give you that

It's also cool how you always post, then a minute or two later, post again... guess it takes a few minutes to get the old noggin' working huh?

your argument is literally "hurrrrrr did you ask everyone how they voted" as if there is any reason to vote for amendment one other than hatred and bigotry. i didn't change poo. everyone who voted for amendment one is a bigot. the closest i came to changing it was qualifying it with "knowingly." if your "well derp maybe they voted out of ignorance herp" argument was suggesting that there were people who voted for it without actually knowing what the amendment was, i'll give you that. but if you knowingly went into the booth and voted in favor of a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage, you are a bigot and you were motivated to vote by hatred.

also i dont think anyone is really buying the idea that you voted against amendment one, what with the way you're sticking up for those poor defenseless bigots

e: oh and since we're talking about what's cool and not, i think it's p cool how many posts you've made in the lovely ladies forum. hell objectifying women is so much of a part of your makeup that i don't think you've ever had an avatar that wasn't dedicated to a woman's boobs or ass. i mean it's the internet dude, you could just go look at porn; instead, you post hundreds of pictures of highly sexualized women on a football website and come off as a creepy old man
