My finance and I are looking for apartments in the South Charlotte area, between South Park & Ballantyne. Any recommendations?? Just thought I would see if the huddle knows of any nice apartments around the $800 range.

I remember looking at Camden foxcroft and fairington and thinkIng they weren't bad.
I've looked into both of those places, I'm currently looking at Marquis at Carmel valley and Reafield Village. Just wondering if any huddlers have had any good experiences in the South Charlotte area.
1 bedroom, 2 bedroom if it fits the budget. Mostly apartments, townhomes maybe. Quite, safe complex, amenities arent that big of a concern. What exactly are you looking for?

I don't have experience in the Charlotte apartment market, but I have a feeling you aren't going to find very nice place in that area for $800.

Park/Selwyn. Lived there for four years and loved it.

You'll probably have a tough time getting anything near Southpark in the 800 range unless you want a studio.
You can definitely get something in Ballantyne for that price though.
A friend of mine has a fairly big 1 bedroom place for 800ish. I don't know the name of the place though.
If you're the type that likes to go out though, the Ballantyne area isn't really going to be great for you. There are a few places, but they're all restaurant/bar type places without much of a bar vibe.

Back when I was in the area most of the complexes in the Ballantyne would run specials regularly. You should be able to find a place within your price range. Your best bet is to go and talk to them in person.
