10 weeks. I've heard about the smaller crate...that's my next option
Should have been your first option.

As far as the smaller crate goes, I've never had that problem. I brought my puppy home at almost 6 weeks and he was in an XL crate. He never had this problem unless it was my fault. Same for the boxers I've had.

Buy a divider or make one. When mine was a pup I bought the biggest crate they offered anticipating for when he grew to full size and used the provided divider. A dog won't poo if they have to lay in it.

Block off the crate so she just has room to stand up & turn around. She won't poo in her bed. EVERYTIME you take her out of the crate take her straight outside to potty. That's how they learn.
This. And make sure to give her lots of praise when she goes outside.
