2 of the top 10 play for the Panthers!!

4. QB Cam Newton and WR Steve Smith, Carolina Panthers
Newton was blessed to have a big-play WR that he could depend on as a rookie and Smith filled that bill perfectly, responding with 79 receptions for 1,394 yards and seven TDs. Smith has excellent vertical speed, great concentration and a fearlessness to go over the middle. Newton doesn't hesitate to look his way -- no matter what the coverage. With other options in the passing game, it's not always easy to roll coverages towards Smith and these two now have a great feel for how the play will develop. They are on the same page and their ability to make sight reads after the snap will only increase as they play more together.

8. RBs DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart, Panthers
This has been a dynamic Panther run game in recent years and now they have even added a third piece, Mike Tolbert from San Diego, who can make both of them better, working out of the FB position either as a lead blocker or complementary runner. A year ago, Williams and Stewart combined for 1,598 yards and 63 receptions (most of those from Stewart). Williams can give them more outside plays while Stewart is a good power runner between the tackles. With the threat of Smith at WR and the scrambling ability of Newton, it's tough for a defense to overload in the box, which that leaves good running lanes for Williams and Stewart.

while I agree with you, it will be hard to satisfy the pundits when Kuechly has yet to play a down. And as of yet has not even put on the pads or had contact. As much as it pains me to say it, it is all currently speculation when it comes to how he will perform in live action.

Oh and that is a trio that would be a completely different article.... B)

How about a 100% Davis, 100% Beason and assuming Keuchly is everything he should be (he COULD be a total bust ya know... but I doubt it). Idk if theres a LB corps better than that.

LOL.

If you don't think SF has one of the best LB corp in all the NFL.....you don't watch the NFL. It ain't just Willis

And I am Luke homer, as my posting pre draft shows.....but we can't count our chickens before the eggs hatch.

No Mr. Loves to Argue, I said that I wouldn't choose any other trio of guys to play linebacker for us in the NFC. Never said anything that remotely came close to "SF doesn't have one of the best LB corp in the NFL".

Please continue to name other teams players that are better than your own teams players for some strange reason.

I'd say San Fran takes that pretty handily.

The strange reason is that some people like to discuss reality.

Please without looking it up, tell me the other linebackers besides Willis. And please tell me how it's fair to compare 3-4 rush LB's to 4-3 OLB's.

Man I forgot that it's a crime to cheer for your own players around here...

It's seriously some of the worst logic I've ever stumbled across in all my internet forum days...
