The number of threads per page appears to be set to 15 and as of yet I haven't found a way to change this setting on my end. I've also looked around online and it appears to be a global setting within IP.Board? Could this be changed to something higher, maybe 25 or 30? As it is the threads don't even take up an entire screen when the forum is viewed at 1920x1080. Just curious. Thanks.

Nah, what we need is more posts per page when viewing a topic. I'm too lazy to keep clicking for the next page and some of these topics have a lot of fuging posts

That too. I honestly thought all message board software allowed that level of customization, kinda weird.

I would like to see them increase our ability to see more posts within a thread without having to hit the next button every minute. I always set mine to the max (e.g., 100 or 200). It's annoying imho to have to hit 1000 page links to traverse through a thread.

Let me get this straight. You're flaming me for making a (polite) suggestion in a News, Updates, Suggestions forum?

Really?

flaming you? nope.
laughing/shaking my head that this is a concern? yes.

if you can respond to this or any post at all, then hitting a button to get more threads on the page shouldn't be that big of a deal.

It's not a "concern" at all. It was merely a suggestion. And yes, one click isn't a big deal. Changing a single forum setting to save hundreds (thousands?) of active users from having to click a button whenever they visit a forum would be an improvement, assuming it wouldn't put extra stress on the server. It would help to cut down on reposts, even if only slightly, as most people simply scan the first page of threads before starting a new one.

I assume you've been to other message boards? Have you seen one that didn't allow you to customize Threads Per Page/Posts Per Page? I would gladly just change it on my end if IP.Board allowed it.

Its all about finding a balance between server load and convenience.
