speeding is often a key component in a lot of those cases you just brought up btw but don't let that stop you from perpetually spewing righteous babble

I guess I'm one of the few who isn't very surprised by this. My friend once went 150 mph and took pics of the speedometer. I've personally went 120 in a Focus before and it scared the poo out of me so I wish to never do it again.

Speed has NOTHING to do with a lot of accidents. It just gets marked down as such because it's a lot more difficult to ascertain why something happened. For example, if someone is on the phone but rear ends someone because they weren't paying attention it's marked down as speed, because the driver isn't going to admit they were on the phone most of the time.

It would be a horrible idea to have a guy who has never received a ticket of any kind or been in a fault accident make a comment on this sort of subject. Even worse if he happened to do his fast driving on race tracks and never use a cell phone while driving. ;)

Driving in New Jersey is bumper to bumper during rush hour. Terrible roads and terrible drivers. I'm to polite to drive in jersey.

I did not want to say anything, but it did pique my imagination. I know French people are ... different. So you can see how I could be curious as to how this happens.

That said. Factors not yet known, will have a bearing on my indignation. Where, when, how much traffic, are questions I still have. Cuz at the right time and place, 100 ain't no big deal. Open road, go for it, you go boy. Traffic, not so much, slow it down son.

Although I will say this. I grew up in the muscle car era. So I have gone over 100 many times. I also have a college education, but a lousy driving record. Grew up in Mi. so learned to drive on ice and snow. Extremely fun training ground.
