Looks like its 6 hrs long and one of those movies you watch 3 times and still don't know wtf is going on.
I'll pass.
Those are usually the movies that are worth watching more than once.

I'm feeling it's gonna pull an Inception on me. I don't know what to think coming out of the theater, but the more I think about it, the more intrigued and fascinated I get. Then I watch it again and again just putting together pieces of the overall story and plot.
Looks good.

Right up there for my favorite movie of all-time is Back To The Future. Part of the reason why is because I once heard Leah Thompson say that she thought the movie was so successful b/c it spoke to the idea that if you did something different and stood up for something once in your life, it could change the entire course of your life (George McFly punching Biff, winning the girl, how it affected their lives, their kids lives, and others from that point on, etc.).The official synopsis for Cloud Atlas describes the film as
an epic story of humankind in which the actions and consequences of our lives impact one another throughout the past, present and future as one soul is shaped from a murderer into a savior and a single act of kindness ripples out for centuries to inspire a revolution.[2]
Yes, I know this is going to be much more "epic" cinematography-wise, but I have always loved stuff like that.

Anyway, the trailer looks amazing and the fact that Tom Hanks is starring makes it a must see. I already love the soundtrack.

They are modern day prophets trying to teach you dummies something!
P.S. I think you have to call them the "Wachowski Siblings" now
