What? A LB to eat up blocks? You had the gameplan?

Not trying to be sarcastic, but there was not a safety or anyone else following thru most of those holes, so what would the point of just eating up a block be? LBs are there to stop the runners.

Luke takes in fullback=Beason making tackle which is why Beason led In tackles today. They ran straight college isolation plays all day.

Yeah I did notice Beason cleaning things up when Kuech did the dirty work.

I will go back & look at the tape tomorrow beofre I respond, b/c that's not what I saw; I'm not willing to say you are worng or I am right, b/c I had my neices while watching the game...but schemes usually are not designed to loser a LBer on a block so the other can make the tackle. They are designed where LBers can be freed up to run to the ball & make the tackles.

Actually he's right, and if you go back and look at the goal line play, it's exactly what Beason did for Davis when Davis stuffed Martin on the goal line.

someone has to take the lead FB out of the equation so someone can then get the RB.

I wouldnt say that, i would say is make sure he can do more than make arm tackles. Seriously this kid doesnt do a good job rushing the passer and doesnt make big hits. But she is a stat stuffer so he looks better than he may be.

Today was funny because the Bucs played about as perfect as they are capable of and they won 16-10.

Our Offense was dogshit today....if we have any type of balance this game is alot different

I didnt understand why Kuechly was brought off the field so much. The catch Martin made was just a circus play..whatever....1 out of 50 he catches that...he's one of our impact coverage guys and we took him out of the game too much i thought

That's the whole point: We didn't ALLOW you to have balance. That was our game plan, take away the run and make Cam do it all by himself. 10 rushing yds allowed is no error on your part, it was the result of our intent to limit the run...

I was only joking.
But hindsight 20/20, look at highlights reel Kuechly was just a sure tackler. Not a big hitter or nothing more. He's no Beason.

Luke will not shut down Graham. And that has nothing to do with Luke and his talent.

Kuechly was average, but what do you expect when our D-Line gets so little pressure on Freeman and there are automatic holes every running play.

This is an ironic statement

Luke Played like a Rookie and thats just what he is. So did every other Rookie this game. We will have to get over it cause thats the big Hurn dogs plan. To fill holes threw the draft not FA and thats what causes slow starts.

Kueckly starts his awesome DROY campaign by taking on blockers so someone else can make the tackles.
