Yeah we lost, and yeah Martin ran all over us, but we held what should end up as a middle of the pack passing game to 128 yards. This might be the last week we're in these rankings, but it is pretty good to see for now.

I mean besides the BS PI call on Norman, the PI on Gamble, the TD pass to Williams, some soft play by Nakamura and the 33 yarder to Clark, the secondary looked great. They're miles ahead of where they were last year at least and even compensated for some of the lackluster pass rush in the first half.

Thoughts?

better D-line play = better secondary. The push up the middle I saw in the second half was better than any we had all of last year.

Secondary was good but needs to create some turnovers. Especially against the Saints* this upcoming week.

Not sure the ball was catchable....but Norman put was guilty of PI. Hooked VJs arm next next to his body.

Not to mention I paid the referee good money to make that call.

TB ran the ball...with success. I'd imagine the stats for the secondary won't look so good after the NO game.

Accidental pie. Is this guy a troll or an ironic Panthers' fan? Does anyone know?

What is this nonsense about Martin running all over us? His average is 4 yards because of that last 15 yarder but he was at 3.4 practically the entire game which is accurate.

The run defense was actually tested and did pretty well. The secondary is ranked high because they barely threw the ball. In fact 10/16 passes were to the RB/TE/FB. That won't last with Breesus

Let's see how they hold up against Brees and company.

I think Tampa threw the ball about five time in the second half.
