Acceptance & Moving Forward

-This is not the NBA. Teams do not go out and acquire 1 guy who becomes the answer to everything. Yes, Cam played like crap and his attitude or whatever you want to call it can be disputed, but get over it on both sides. He is our franchise QB not a savior and hopefully he's developing into a strong leader and lethal player. Again, this is not the NBA. The offense, defense, and st all played like utter crap and they've done so many times before. One guy doesn't make a franchise but they can help make a dynasty and it's typically after the fact in the NFL. After the wins, after the super bowls...it's after the success.
-The bigger issue at hand however: COACHING & MANAGEMENT
Coaches have the opportunity to inculcate values and characteristics of a team along with developing strategy and game plans. The team has clearly not learned to communicate during games on-the-field like we did during a certain regime...but its year two. The problem is we don't seem to adapt and grow...or at least not from my perspective. This is the biggest all around problem
-Look forward and grow some skin all around. From top to bottom in this organization. We don't need to implode because of this 1 week 3 regular season game. Again let's just move on. If you find yourself sulking about the team sulking then you haven't moved on. So let's at least do that as fans and hope the team also does so (I'm pretty confident they will)
-Fox was 10-9 at this point, Seifert 8-11, Dom 10-9 and we didn't have a "savior" or whatever you want to call it.
-Accept the realities of having a guy like Cam. People are either going to try to tear him up or unabashedly love him in the national spotlight. Every guy that says something negative: Fugg himm!! All the homers: OMG you're so blind!! f*ck that attitude...again move on ladies and gentlemen and let's not get so damn pissy
...and most importantly accept the fact that this team is not there yet and by simply drafting one guy will not do that. We have this whole remainder of the season to grow, develop, and excel as a team with some hopeful leaders. What games like these do is expose the flaws at the tip top of the org because people's expectations as fans and the organizations attitude has been revolving around one guy not one message.
-Two words: Sam Mills
The lack of never having a player like Cam in our history shows on both ends with these reactions.
Learn to become a franchise and move forward

I've become completely apathetic to the notion of us not winning a game the rest of the season.

of course you have, cause there really is no other option, as a fan, is there.I've accepted we are an atrocious franchise with not much hope in the forseeable future as long as management stays the same.
I've become completely apathetic to the notion of us not winning a game the rest of the season.
I knew i should avoid the huddle this weekend, and you are the perfect reason why.

That's a pretty damning stat. Rivera has the worst record over the first 19 games compared to all our other HCs, even Seifert. And he's done that with the most talented QB we've ever had.

It's definitely one of the most damming stats about our new coaches

...and if it happens to work by mocking the thread, I encourage more to do so haha
