Jesus, the idiocy in this thread is mind numbing.

My favorite...we brought in Chud to design a game plan around Cam, even though Chud was hired before we had Cam.

Save us the time and the bandwidth. Just say you hate the starting QB of the team you claim to support and be done with it.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I understand the frustration with Cam's demeanor, but some of you are just ridiculous. Mental midget? Ryan Leaf 2.0? Cam is twenty three and has played a total of nineteen games for us. Is there room for improvement? Absolutely. But if you think that you can make any sort of definitive judgement about our quarterback as a player and person based on such limited information you are mistaken. Cam might be a bust. Cam might be the GOAT. Only time will tell. Take a friggin xanax and wait for the Falcons game.

I have terrible news for you; turd.

Newton isn't going anywhere else for a very, very long time haha. NFL fans are hilarious.

Just like Dallas fans who have said they want to go in a different direction from Romo. Or the Giants fans with Eli back in 2007 before he won a title.

Richardson will make sure newton is here for as long as he's owner.

Find another fetish wish

We had the first pick, we knew we were taking Cam. Chud was brought in before we drafted him to put a system in place and design a game plan that would capitalize off his abilities, so he could hit the ground running after the lock out. What would you suggest drafting Cam, then hiring an OC....you're an idiot.

Sure.

Keep trying to rationalize the hate if it makes you feel better.

Well stop buying into every piece of BS that is being said about your QB.

If Cam has mental issues, he's on the perfect team because mental outbreak run amuck on this site.

Plus, I will be honest, everytime I see your team on TV I seriously wonder more about Smitty than I do Cam. He's always spitting angry at someone. I love my football players agressive but he's always seem ready to fight and does get into fights unnecessarily...Do you think it's fair that your rookie QB should be be screamed at by a grown man whose own behavior helped contribute to the team losing on Thursday? IMO, you're just as bad as Smitty because you're quick to want to hold Cam responsible for every damn mistake he makes but you don't do the same to your Captain..

IMO, Cam just seem like he's placed under way to much pressure to perform for a team that seems extremely undiscipline. Don't understand why you folks would interprete that kind of pressure as healthy or needing to teach him to man up.

Every other team take care of their QB but this one. You folks throw them to the wolves..Especially to that crazy receiver of your..LOL

1) I don't buy into jackshit about supposed "mental" issues. Cam hates to lose, and shows it. Nothing wrong with that. The rest of the crap I don't give a rip about.2) Have you been on any other football forum before? Every single fanbase has its nutters that dog the QB> I have yet to meet a Cowboy fan that actually likes Romo. Giants fans wanted Eli Manning to get run out of town not long after he won a Super Bowl. You're not only painting the entire Panthers fanbase with the wrong brush, but acting as if we're the only ones that do this.

He's got some kind of weird ass Cam fetish going on and now he's mad at Smitty for crawling Cam's ass. It's best to just try and ignore him.

I can't tell who's side he's on. Is he a Saints** troll or something?

I can't help but compare Cam to RG3 and watching the Redskins game today, I really see the differences between the two of them. Early on today, RG3 was down to Cincinnati. The cameras show him hanging out with the offensive line, trying to get them PUMPED UP and ready to GO!!! They fought back and yes, loss but didn't give up. Had that been Cam and the Panthers were down, he would have gone to the bench, put a towel over his head and asked to be left alone as his team looses.

Cam IMO has issues dealing with adversity. I think a lot of it comes from being an almost unbeatable college star and now having to deal with the fact that the pros is harder than college and it won't be an easy ride. Will Cam have great games because of his athleticism? Absolutely, especially against struggling defenses. BUT against great Super Bowl winning teams, they'll expose him until he learns how to deal with adversity and become a part of the team instead of avoiding them, when the going gets tough.

It doesn't cover the fact that Cam isn't going anywhere for a very, very long time if ever

I know it hurts for you to hear that but try to grin and bare it. Pillow bite it out

Ok let's see you live with the immense national pressure, scrutiny, and difficulty that he deals with day in and day out, I'm sure you'd be able to handle it so much better, at least he's willing to try these things out to mature himself and make himself a better player and person, I have no idea how this is a "red flag" yes we know how immature he acts but at least he's acknowledging this and working on improving himself?? In fact (correct me of I'm wrong) I think Tom Brady had this in college as well, look how he turned out?? Jesus Christ why is this such a big deal to everyone?

I could tell you there's no way in hell that I would see a shrink for any reason. Only the mentally weak do these type of things. If you're strong mentally you don't need to seek outside help. You handle things and go through adversity which only makes you stronger. Needing help or taking medication is the biggest damn crutch in today's society. It's complete BS!

Now with all that said, it's a red flag and this is only my opinion. If you agree then cool, if not then cool. Doesn't really phase me either way. Personally I think this whole situation has been totally overblown. Now that this "tidbit" of info has been leaked to the media, this is much bigger problem than just a loss.

Let's hope that Cam can get his mind right and become what we all hope that he will be. It'd help if the team could be a little more consistent on both sides of the ball...
