With all this talk about Cam's leadership...

...have people not been paying attention?

Did you not see Cam going around to each player before the 1st possession slapping their hands and getting them pumped up?

Did you not see Cam standing on the sideline watching the defense try to hold back Seattle?

Did you see any indication that Cam went into a funk in the huddle at any point in the game?

Did you watch his postgame presser and see how well he handled himself?

Cam has listened to the criticism and has been working hard at improving in this aspect of his game. Yes, he had a bad game, but please recognize that he is handling himself much better as a leader. Question his passes, question his ability to read defenses, but it's time to stop with the comments about him pouting and not paying attention on the sideline.

Cam is a lightning rod for better or worse. We wanted a national superstar and now we have one. The media will feast when he plays well and kill him when he plays bad. ESPN and NFL network are entertainment stations rather than news outlets.

The true sign of a leader is waiting until you are called out for it to display it.

Granted, a lot of the criticism is fair. Cam needs to play better but he is not the only one.

His postgame presser was really good, but I want to see him smiling after a win again. Dear God, please let us start winning again. . .

My comments were directed at Huddle members. There is no hope for ESPN and other media outlets. After all, Cam sells, good or bad doesn't matter.
