we're under-ranked because we sucked so bad in the playoffs... and i gauruntee you every single man on that roster knows it, hates it, harbors a bitter grudge against it, and will come out playing with everything to prove.

bring the mediocre rankings all day long.

well I'm not sure about every player.... haha

Rankings might as well be done by the fans cause all the darlings seem to make it to the top no matter how bad they are. Its crazy the Cards rank so low and they were in the SB last year and have lost no players.

The Seahawks are ahead of us? Thats ludicrous, I just don't see much on that team. The Buc's have a good run game possibly but Freeman/Leftwich/Mccown just isnt going to do it. I don't see many improvements to their defense either.

The pundits are weighing very heavily the Peppers' "factor" which they believe will be a major distraction. Oh how soon they forget that this team went 2-0 with our best player suspended at the ouset of last season.

Secondly, they are assuming Jake is going to play like he did in the 'Zona game ALL season. Every QB has had a horrible game. Last night I was watching the 2007 Giants SB run on the NFLN and a couple of games proir to the playoffs ELI tossed FOUR picks and lost a fumble versus the Vikings. He only then went on to be the SB MVP several games later.
