Deangelo days are numbered unless he goes on a tear down the stretch

All of the teams that interviewed Chud for a HC job last year are saying 'dodged a bullet on that'

Maybe Rivera can show us something down the stretch with football decisions.

How to lose a team?

RR is definitely gone after this season. JR gave him "control" of football decisions so he could say how poorly he did at the end of the season and fire him

RIvera just said that all personnel decisions will be up to him at this point.

This is what I expected... I'd bet Rivera complained to JR that he didn't have the right personnel to execute our offensive/defensive scheme, so now JR is giving him the reigns (and maybe enough rope to hang himself).

I do think there was a huge disconnect between the personnel department and the coaching department. DeAngelo is the best illustration of that - we're paying him big money and barely using him.
