would that make your day bolter? maybe we can steal norv and use him as our OC next year.
A little, but it still wouldn't solve PR's arm slowly morphing into Chad Pennington's

I was listening to the radio yesterday and a Chargers fan who lived in NC called and said he would love to have Rivera as the Chargers HC next season. LOL. He can have him as far as I'm concerned.

I was in college the same time Rivers was and a couple of my best friends went to State and I'd always go visit them and go the games, so I've always liked Rivers and followed him in the pros.
The comparison u made about Rivers and Pennington is a little off but there is absolutely no question that Rivers has regressed significantly the past 2 years. San Diego drafting a QB early a couple years ago did wonders for Drew Brees' career. They should try that again.

I've never understood how he throws the ball at all with that motion he has...

It's tough to run Norv's O with marginal talent on the outside.
Brady's O, go right ahead, not a problem. But the Coryell need some specific guys to run it, and right now they don't have any.
Seyi anyone?

Their GM has slowly destroyed that team, but Turner isn't making much of a case for himself.
IMHO opinion AJ Smith has shown brilliance at times in his Draft and Free Agent moves.
However his arrogance and personal grudges starting way back with the Marty Schottenheimer feud has lead to the demise of the Chargers to their current position.
Current ownership has had ample opportunities to rectify the situation but seem more focused on Stadium Deals/Possible move to LA than day to day operations.
Meanwhile, the fans suck hind tyt.

IMO has more to do with the owners here. Could be much like our situation.
Do you think that AJ didn't want to keep Turner, and Sproles. How about VJ?
He wanted those guys but I think that ownership wanted something different.

How about keeping a coach who took you to 14-2 the season he was fired.
Ownership didn't want Martys son on the coaching staff.
It was Marty's way or the highway on hiring his son.
He got the highway.
