Didnt the New York Giants, in 2007 get hot and win the Super Bowl because of their pass rush picking it up mid season and causing havoc the rest of the season? I would argue the same thing happened last year when they won it, but last year was more due to Eli.

A good pass rush is one of the biggest things to getting hot, if you can knock around the opposing quarterback and get to him like we have the past two weeks Im not so sure we couldnt make a run. The game this week that spoke volumes was the fact that the Bears put up 50+ against the lowly Titans, a team we were dominating in every facet up to the late 4th quarter. Long story short, if we are gonna make a run, potentially to the playoffs, we could do it with the defensive line play we have been seeing as of late.

They had a lil better record at this point in the season. I'm not going to say its impossible that we make it, but the odds are way against it.

Lol we won't be in the playoffs.....but let's hope we can get as many wins as possible and have some fun watching our team. But running the table and making the playoffs would be awesome

We still have a clear path to improve upon last year's record. I went into this season just wanting improvement more than anything else. So if we can string a 7-9 or 8-8 season together somehow, I'd be a more than happy camper.

If we can get consistent at that, it will be a very good sign.

Find where I said we could put up 50 against the Titans, I didnt. Im saying our defense played tremendous to keep a team that is capable of scoring 50 evidently, way under that and almost won.

I doubt there are many people here who would have expected us to have a 2-6 record, yet be very satisfied with our D-Line play....and Rivera expressed no concern about our DT/DE situation at the end of 2011....weird how things shake out...
