I need ideas for what to put in Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. I want things that they need as well as some things to play with too, things that serve both purposes would be cool. The age ranges are 2-4, 5-9 or 10-14. I've thought of the normal stuff like toy cars, dolls, toiletries, school supplies, etc...

Buddy of mine's daughter is huge into that.
I'm familiar with it, but lousy at it, so probably not much help

Sounds like you've got a good idea what needs to go in. Five below/dollar store would be a good place to go. Just a bunch of interesting stuff. Read rules on candy though.

dont overthink it - the children the boxes go to are so poor anything you give them will be loved and appreciated
