Yes, a discussion of Scooby Doo characters... sounds like a great endeavor.

I never really caught on as a kid to them... but watching old Scooby Doo as an adult...

Shaggy and Scooby = Pot heads with the munchies

Fred = Rich kid trying to fit in

Daphne = Preppy girl with crush on Fred

Velma = frumpy girl with glasses and knee socks with eyes for Daphne and Fred


You kind of strike me as the frumpy nerdy girl hence the comparison to Velma.

while we're on this topic i can think of several posters who are scrappy doo. overly loud, redundant as all hell, paid way too much attention, and in general just a terrible terrible cast member.
