he'll be there till the bitter end.
the real question is who is gonna get the axe next after a loss? there will be another panic booting trying to be all hard and everything, but it won't be rivera.

Yes, it is very possible for an interim coach to make things even worse.

We lose out he'll still be the coach. Til the offseason, anyway.
I agree that he will, but you can't lose to a team when their biggest weapons aren't playing

and no...the team wouldn't be better off without a coach (which was actually suggested recently).Use Rivera to evaluate the talent on the team, then fire him at the end of the season.

The way its going, it'll be the long snapper or the holder.

I think there has been one of these threads every week this season. And like every week that has passed, Rivera will still be our coach. Just have to wait until seasons end.
There was a point that we thought Marty was here for as long as JR was...I think these are different circumstances when your up against a team that's missing their starting qb and rb. You can't be embarrassed on a national stage that way.

I hope you are right. I wanted Rivera gone after the giants game. They were missing some key players and we got curb stomped. I think I can handle Rivera for the rest of the season but please just get Chud out of here before he destroys Cam's development. I can't deal with seeing the read option anymore.

Outside of fixing your butt hurt over the season so far, what would firing him after this game accomplish? nada. it's not going to make the team suck any less and will probably if anything make it suck more.I know I previously supported the idea that Rivera shouldn't be fired until after the season, BUT if we lose this game to the eagles without Vick or Mccoy then he needs to find his own way home.
I'm tired of reading all these post about firing him now as if it will accomplish a damn thing, some people on here need to stop believing the NFL universe revolves around them.
