Fug Cover 2

not nearly aggressive enough. way too soft, esp in a league that uses the TE so much.

McDermott has been bailed out this year by the fact that the defensive line is finally playing up to there potential. Everything else has been suspect. Really you can credit Hurney more for the success in picking up Edwards and Alexander.

The ONLY problem I have is this. Monte's defense requires 2 pretty good safeties. We don't even have 1 (well, 1 that can play both the run and the pass effectively). Unless we're going to upgrade BIG time at safety, his defense most likely wouldn't work, unless we continue to sodomize opposing QBs with our front 4.

Whats a retred? But Nolan always has damn good defenses everywhere he is

A retread is someone who was a HC somewhere else and got fired for sucking. Some people prefer this because they have HC experience and could work out well with a change of scenary, eg Bellicheat. Others see it as a huge red flag, he sucked once, he'll suck again.

Kiffin is 72 years old.

I actually like the Jim Johnson zone blitz scheme we're running now. Granted it needs better players in a few spots.

Can't see this group do Tampa 2, Keuchly is a tackler, not a coverage guy

Well his son is a sniveling little bitch, so if he is anything like his offspring I don't want him.

Kiffin was a very good DC, but the article I read said he might not want to be a DC again, just a consultant or something like that. It's all speculation of course, but I wouldn't be opposed to him as our DC if it did work out that way.
