It's coming up on ESPN2 if anyone wants to see the report.

They aren't saying much in the way of details

The last time the NFL did anything like that was 9/11, in spite of countless tragedies happening since then.

It'd be surprising if the show didn't go on as planned.

I'm reading it was linebacker Javon Belcher.

ESPN said police are not reporting names. There are no other injuries.

Chiefs confirmed incident but will not release details ahead of police.

@ DonBanks Hard to imagine Carolina at Chiefs game going on as planned on Sunday in light of Sat. shooting, but NFL faces making decision fairly soon.

They will play and the Chiefs will rally as a team around this. Panthers are in for a tough game against a now emotional team. I'm sorry but I can't find sympathy for a person who commits a murder suicide. I certainly feel bad for the GF and the unborn child but this guy is just another Ray Carruth.

If you were a teammate of his and were a good friend, your brain wouldnt be able to comprehend what just happend, let alone be able to competively play football.

Joe Person reporting that the NFL has told the Panthers to proceed as planned. So there you are.

Shouldn't be surprising.

Cam should wear body armor. No telling what those lunatics might do. Don't need our star QB getting blasted.

Wasn't an unborn child...but they had a 2.5 month old baby. Doesn't really change things, but glad no baby was harmed.
