👍 Nice

I guess I'm confusing his career with being injured throughout this year

If we have the cap room, sign him and move Gross to RT and Bell to RG= Profit

Best thing about Rookie Caps is the price. No high priced Tackle Free Agents, thanks.
Draft LT, move Gross to RT.
Silatolu and Kalil.
So 1st Pick, LT, Silatolu, Kalil, Guard spot to be determined, Gross.
Add depth afforably through the draft or FA.

Bell sucks at guard, This isn't madden.

If we were to add a player like Long, it would mean that we have cut Gross so that we can afford Long.

open up that wallet old man, cut Gross' ass.

Gross, I think, is about $6M against the cap next year.

So to sign Long we need to do it for at least 6 years (as we need to give him a huge signing bonus to spread out his cap hit away from the next two years).

Is that you Hurney?

I dnt mind but he's been an above average LT only. Never live up to the hype. And he's going to come off an injury IR season, I think.

What happens if a team goes over the salary cap? what penalties does the nfl levy? I think this every time i read someone say we are up against the cap and would like to know.
