This Sunday our Carolina Panthers take on the 5-8 San Diego Chargers. Many of us Huddlers, myself included, will be in attendance this weekend representing the Huddle.

Admittedly I haven't watched a single Chargers game this year other than when Peyton Manning and the Broncos staged one of the best comebacks of the season.

What can we expect from the Chargers? What are the keys to the game? Hopefully our starters that were out this previous game are back on the field and in the mix.

I know Ryan Mathews has struggled this year as has Rivers. They also are coming off of a big win after defeating the Steelers in Pittsburgh 34-24. I think we need to continue to pressure the QB and stop the run first and foremost on defense. Rivers does have some decent targets at his disposal and I'm always at least somewhat worried about our secondary.

I think Cam continues his mistake-free play this weekend and the running game contributes as well. However, this team seems to let me down time and time again after a big win and this time they are playing in another timezone which could be problematic. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Prediction? 23-17 Carolina.

Just keep a watch on D. Alexander, and keep pressure on their struggling OLine. Rivers is throwing like poo last few weeks.
We should be able to clinch this.

A lot of people thought the KC game was a gimme as well. San Diego jumped up quickly on Pittsburgh last week and manged to hold on. Also , say what you want about Norv T. and Phillip Rivers, in the month of December they are money. Total team effort I think we come out with the win.

Don't get your heads filled up with this we are a good team mess. After a win you guys all think we are the Green Bay Packers. With that I feel Rivers will do well and throw over 300. We lose 34-21.

It's hard to believe how different this team was last time we played the chargers. Delhomme threw that game winning TD to rosario dawson in the last few seconds. Man.. that was a lot of losing ago.

How is their defense? Will they give up chunks to the offense? Will we have Stewart back? DeAngelo is in rhythm.... Might not be a bad idea to hold stewart out one more week. Never thought I would say that

San Diego is not very physical. I was afraid of KC because of their physicality, but SD is weak at the point of attack. They beat PIT w/o their best CB. Keek will have a field day, as they love screens. We'll be able to run on them if Chud calls a similar game as last week. Ben gave them headaches with his scrambling; Cam should kill them back there. They only win if they out coach Rivera and crew.
