Captain Morgan

How has Silatolu progressed?

I have no ability to determine how o-linemen are doing unless they're getting

blown past for sacks.

I know at the start of the season he was pretty shakey. Has he improved?

Do you think he was worth a second round pick?

I'm seeing a rookie progression similar to Bell, which bodes well for next season.

Amini was dreadful early on but has making gains in the run-blocking department. I still think his pass blocking needs some work, though.

he's been improving the past two weeks but it's hard to say for sure. The line is in shambles and truthfully the Falcons and Chargers both seemed like they were on Valium.

this guy is garbage and shouldn't be starting. We need to bring in veteran offensive lineman who aren't cut for sucking.

Err false, and ignoring your assessment of Silatolu, god knows the market is just absolutely flooded with quality O-linemen with no team to play for.

All I know is every Sunday at least 3-5 times I see Bell barely touch the guy he's supposed to block before that guy levels Cam

For the life of me I can't figure out why people are so high on Bell. It's like they are still evaluating him based on the expectations of a UDFA, not a starting NFL tackle.

Bell has a difficult time stopping the faster and more aggressive edge rushers. If he gets contact with the DE though he's good but like you said that's the issue.

He has had his bad games to go with the good ones, more of the latter. Hopefully he will continue to trend upward

    • I'm somewhat concerned over Cam's shoulder - but the LB group really has me worried. Luke's concussion really has me freaked out still... and I pray that TD's ACL continues to be strong.
    • The best part about trying to discuss racism or privelege with people is how when you mention these terms they immediately go to "I've worked for everything I ever had, nothing was ever handed to me", demonstrating that they don't understand what privelege is and how it's not an accusation. And instead of listening to what you say, they're in defensive mode and spend the entire argument denying that they are racist, dominate the conversation, and don't learn anything, and you never even accused them of being a racist to begin with. It's exhausting.
    • The KB hate is ridiculous. Blaming him for hogging targets that should have gone to Ginn? First of all, Ginn had more receptions and yards in 2016 than 2015. Sure he went down in TDs, but I'd expect KB to always have more TDs. Second, how do people forget that in his first game back from ACL that he was our best offensive weapon against the vaunted Denver D? We scored 20 (should have been 23) points against Denver with KB and 10 in the SB without and our offense was actually -5 based on turnovers.

It gets tiring to see the revisionist history trying to blame KB for our offensive drop because he was a target hog.

I'll throw out that if KB played in the SB we would have won. In 3 games against Denver Cotchery and Ginn had 7 receptions for 96 yards and caused an INT/muffed a huge pass before the step sack for a TD, regardless of replay officials. In 1 game against Denver KB had 6 receptions for 91 yards and a TD.
