As I've said many times it will come down to who else is realistically available. If we finish strong I'll take RR another year if we can't get a proven head coach. I am not wild about promoting another coordinator.

Good point! As I was looking through the candidates it wasn't like someone really grabbed my attention that would want the job here.

For those citing his late surge, you do remember we did the same thing last year, only to start this year 1-7 right?

Putting the example on a more basic level, you probably don't know anything about carpentry, but I'll bet you could still recognize a poorly made cabinet or piece of furniture.

...you're right i could recognize a poorly made cabinet but a decent made piece of furniture is made by a carpenter that gets to select the finest wood, hardware and other materials, not partical board and nails... all im saying is Riv has a good football mind and knows the game better than most and should be given a chance to get some talent in here that he selects....

...following your thought process, i bet you think Fox is a great coach because Denver is 11-3...

If Rivera is still head coach, Gettis will not see the field. Lets face it he hates him.

Only time I have wavered in keeping Rivera was after the KC game. If a performance like that or worse happens in the next two games then yes..the opinion on him will change due to performance.

Does Rivera hate Gettis or does Gettis's knee hate Gettis....it took him a long time to recover from a knee injury and quite possibly his practices are lackluster...of course no one outside of the team knows this.

Some guys just blow their knees out and they are done....used to be norm.

How many times are people going to overlook that players cost us games this year just as much as coaching decisions? The team is playing inspired football and if I knew that I was being payed millions whether I won games or not I can assure you I wouldn't bother. Something about Rivera has lit a fire under these players with nothing to play for and i'm all for giving him another shot besides..top 10 defense with most of the starters missing...bitch please!

This is the most telling thing. Something changed and now players want to win and support Rivera.

Well, I don't know about all of this what you are saying but I do know that Rivera brought in Legs (legadu) last year saying that LaFell and Gettis were disappointments in so many words. How in the f could he come up with that when the year before those 2 had decent stats sheets. He over worked Gettis and now his knee needs rehab.

Then as the season goes on LaFell wins the starting job, then Rivera jumps all on his balls. With those decisions right there, my spidey senses should have been going crazy.Posted Image

I honestly dont credit RR for the new look on Offense. i think its Cam waking up and playing better and making better decisions.
