Very beginning where people are expecting us to get clobbered then around page 24-25 it gets insane

Makes me more depressed than anything.

I understand why, but personally I can't think of that game without smiling.

Good memories :D

Random exclamations, cursing of players moments after celebrating them, cries for the coaches heads to roll, bringing out some esoteric comment to validate a "prediction"... looks like a typical Huddle gameday thread.

I think I freaked out more at the end of this game than at any moment in Panthers' history, with the possible exception of the Delhomme to Muhammad TD in the Super Bowl.

Pretty much all of my life prior to that game I had been a Redskins fan simply because most of my life was spent with the Carolinas not having an NFL team. Saw that game and I've been a die hard Panthers fan ever since.

Reading that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I had never watched a football game before our Super Bowl, so I didn't get to experience this.

If anyone can find the full game and wants to hook a brother up, I'm here waiting ;)

I still remember the title of the Observer article the next day. "Do they know where Charlotte is now?"

It's funny how much we forget in so short a time span. If you would have asked me who the QB for the Rams was in that game, I would have told you Kurt Warner.
