JR is rapidly turning into Abe Simpson.
He's a Jerry Jones type of owner.

Ya know, call me crazy, but I've found it's kind of unusual for a job hire to be made before any of the candidates have actually been interviewed.

You're missing the point entirely. People are wondering why you wouldn't at least let your new GM feel like he was somewhat involved in the process of how his career is going to start.
GM interviews should have been done on Wednesday. The GM should have been making the decision on whether or not Rivera stays.
Richardson has blatantly put this off because he didn't want any one to "steal his power" from him.
He's a delusional, senile old man.
Rivera being given a 3rd year frankly doesn't bother me all that much. The fact that Fat Cat just doesn't get it, does bother me.

You gotta remember Mr. Scot, most of the posters here are like teenage girls who heard there was blowout sale at the mall. Naive and impatient, begging mommy and daddy for money and a ride.Ya know, call me crazy, but I've found it's kind of unusual for a job hire to be made before any of the candidates have actually been interviewed.

We have a coach that's a lame duck. Do you know how hard it is to coach as a lame duck? Idk but I call it the equivalent of your supervisor literally standing over your shoulder as you work. JR loves his lame ducks doesn't he

For clarification, I'm not upset at Rivera staying at all, but the GM thing is odd.

Jerry Jones owned teams have won Super Bowls.
True, but I was talking mainly about wanting all the power over all the decisions and basically being a GM. Only difference is JR doesn't give himself the title and Jones does.
