The question is, would it be worth another poo season to get Clowney? Kick Hardy inside, have Gettleman bring in his own guy start fresh?

The answer is no, let's go to the fuging playoffs pleasethnxkbai.

I know it is not your point, but everyone please stop dreaming about kicking Hardy inside. He is a great DE against the pass AND rush, so why would you want to play him as a full time DT?

Yes, he is a great inside rusher on passing down and are rightly used as such. But rewatch the last couple of game when he was forced inside on rushing downs. He totally out of his depth. Let him do what he is great at and stop dreaming about new stars on positions we already have covered.

God knows we have enough positions needing major upgrade...

It all reminds me of the "lets mode Johnson the Fullback so he can line up with Biakababuka" just because he hade a great year at tb in 96. Leading to Griffin leaving the team (and making the Davis the best rb in the leauge, granted he was already good). Our running game sucked, badly, in 97.

Shoot me in the face if we spend another year with Rivera and end up as the worst team in the leauge. We essentially would have wasted the first 3 years of having a franchise QB with a clown as our HC.

Gettleman is going to jettison some contracts if he can. I'm not saying the team will be horrible or even want to go for Clowny but the way JR has been. Don't be shocked.

There won't be any house cleaning this year. If they do decide to re-build, it'll be after Rivera has failed.

Jesus, guys. Give it up already. Clowney will NOT be a Panther. Move on.

He already said on a wfnz interview that he'd like to be drafted by a team that's "far away". I don't want another Peppers who is just dying to get out of the Carolinas to brighter lights.

If we clean house, it would be a huge mistake. We are still reeling from the 2010 debacle.

Even if we somehow become terrible again, which I don't see how happening unless Cam goes down (knock on wood), I'd be more on the Marquis Lee train than Clowney's. We have 2 great DEs here.

I want Clowney more than the next man, but I want team success more.

Was there so much love for Clowney before he made that play recently that's gif'd all over the place?

I'm only just getting to grips with teh NFL so i've not a chance of knowing about college ball and any prospects other than what I read in mocks. But Clowney seems to be mentioned quite a bit and i'm not sure if that's a long running thing or people are reacting to 1 big play?
