Not quite. Whisenhuint runs Erhardt-Perkins, an offshoot of the Coryell but not quite the same (pretty much all the old Steeler guys do).

just remembered that wiz is pretty much a spread guy now. the team that abused us and went to the superbowl used it.

he seems like an open minded offensive guy. he might be the man for the job.

i just hope we can snag him.

I'd be very happy with the Whis. Always liked him as a coach.

I wouldn't scream about it.

Like I said, I just have other options I like better,

I've been on this bandwagon for a while now.
Whiz fired? Check
Chud gone? Check
Opening for OC to bring his own WR coach and RB coach? Check, check, and uhhhh Ferocious cardinals running game.... Pass.

It seems Whisenhunt is still looking to be a HC. It may be a while before he begins interviewing for an OC job, but I'd definitely take him. He's a way better candidate then some of the guys I'm hearing the Panthers are interested in. I want two things for whoever is going to be our next OC. One, they mold Cam into an expert QB. Two, they treasure the running game with our running backs.
