Frankly, as much as I dislike the Falcons...i prefer a team from our own division winning regardless of the degree to which I dislike them.

More attention on the division equals spotlight...gets us by default more attention..helps attract higher level talent/coaches...etc etc. The south has been fighting an uphill battle against northern teams for decades (Dallas excluded because really, that isnt the "south")

Bigger picture is more important than gloating over a division rival. Seriously..they are there...we are not. If we take pride in the fact they lost to someone else (and create 15 threads about it tomorrow)...we are the losers..not them~

Its the same kind of pride you would feel and likely come here to drop names about if a guy you took mathematics courses with in college (if you even went to/are in college) who was a star player, became and NFL star and did great things....even though he might be the kind of guy to run a train with three buddies on your sister at a frat party.

I'll tell you this, if the Falcons win, they'll get completely manhandled by the niners in the title game. At least Seattle/SF will be interesting to watch.
