"The fans are ruthless and don't deserve a winner," Anderson wrote Tuesday in a terse e-mail when asked for a reaction to being released. "I will never forget getting cheered when I was injured.

"I know at times I wasn't great. I hope and pray I'm playing when my team comes to town and (we) roll them."

I guess he is over all that....

I remember that... the fans wanted them to play Brady Quinn. That didn't go so well.

Time heals wounds.

Free agency heals them faster.

Similar results as when Anderson played that last year.

07 was a fluke year for DA. Nothing he has ever done supported that year....same could be said for Braylon Edwards. and Winslow

I hope he does well if he goes back - he seems like a good guy for the passion of the game. Cleveland is a pretty miserable city, however.

Cleveland will be the surprise team next season....I just have a feeling.

A star RB
a decent QB in Anderson , Weeden will see the bench.
a very good oline J Thomas leads the way
a good TE Watson
weakness wr they have Gordon, Little, Cribbs?? this can be addressed in FA, draft
pro bowl kicker Dawson

The Defense is not good they need several players to fix this but plug in the right players and they cant help but improve Dquell Jackson is there best player and thats not saying a lot

I dno if I agree with that. I really believe that Cleveland has a ton of talents of the Defensive side of the ball. They play "hard nosed defense" as well as the other three teams in their division (Bal, Cincy, and PItts). They have more talented players than just Jackson, with an "elite" corner in Joe Haden, TJ Ward, Jabaal Sheard, and Phil Taylor. Their weak spot is an aging group of LBs. They're clearly a good team on the rise if they can bring in or develop one of their QBs. Put Peyton Manning on that team and they'd be in the Playoffs. Maybe lose in the Divisional round lol, but still in the Playoffs.

Weeden is better than a lot of y'all are giving him credit for. I don't see DA beating him out for the job (if it comes to that).
