I think we'd be fools to take a DT in the first round (where Richardson will go) when we have such a huge need on the offensive line.

you are right, and Cam needs to be protected. i meant to quote the person saying that you could run at Richardson like Dwan was all that good at stopping the run, because he wasnt.

That's why we don't need another DT with that skillset, we need one that can hold up in the run game. Plus dwan wasn't nearly as bad as what Ive seen from richardson

Dwan is a 8 year vet, and FA. Richardson is still young, will get stronger, and can be taught the proper technique to handle runs at him.

I think he's pretty overrated. He struggles when teams run right at him, which shouldn't be said about a DT.

I don't know much. I'm not an expert at scouting players.

Every draft, DTs are always quick off the board. I see 3-4 DTs off in the 1st alone. With a strong combine, Richardson can be the 2nd DT taken and a top15-20 pick. I say he's a much better and more polished player than Poe, though he's an UT. He'll end up being a 1st rounder.

Hankins is a great player. His games vs Cal and Michigan proves that. He's an incredible athlete. Stock is only dropping bc of physical concerns.

I think the DT I like the most in this class is sharif Floyd, strong against the run and has a good pass rush.
