I thought he showed nice progress and should at least be a solid #2 and possibly #1 depending on how the draft/FA shakes out. No matter what happens, there would be no complaints from this corner if Fua never saw the field again.

Well Gettleman is running the show. Things are a changin. Kearse is a jag. You have to consider he plays a little fresher than most guys at the end of the year but he's never gonna be a starter. I think he's one of our better DTs but he doesn't make most of the rosters in the league.
Yeah, but a ton of 1 techs and NT's in the league are just jags, at least in 4-3 D's. You can kinda get away with a jag if the rest of your D-line is solid.

Comparing him to Fua does him no favors, but at the same time, the fact he's not starting with the DTs Carolina has on the roster also says a lot... because the starting Panthers DT's would be hard pressed to be #2's elsewhere in the league
