Mayock's line of expertise is scouting players, not coaches.

That being said this article is homertastic garbage.

journalistic scouting is one of the hardest things for someone to look like they know what they're talking about, even a guy like mayock

he's not basically throwing every conveniently positive stat he can find to support an argument, after all

But-but-but, It's Mayock! Whatever he says must be true!

lol. He's renownly known as a draft guru. Nothing more, nothing less. If the subject at hand was about a draft prospect. I'd say he's more than likely going to be right. He has been right more times than he has been wrong about draft prospects though.

I only love the fact that he calls out chud. I know this article is pure homerism. But i think a lot of ya'll are gonna be eating crow next year. I've got a good vibe from this team and staff, from the interviews i've read and seen/heard. Last year, i knew we were playing overconfident. There was complacency. It was always in the back o f my mind.

This year, everyone is hungry. Just wait. Everyone who says those last 8 games didnt matter. That was Rivera's job on the line. He turned a corner. That says a lot. Shula must have sold him. Cause he's got one shot left.

Didn't Mayock say that he thought Newton wasn't a legitimate first rounder and his choice would be Gabbert??? Great judge of talent there.
