ESPN is just quoting an article from the upcoming SI issue, that has quotes from Ray Lewis in it. He can't deny it to one place and say something else to another and expect to keep integrity. I mean he told SI for the article that he did indeed order from SWATS, at least according to the SI article.

Yes, "according to the S.I." article. Ray stated that this was brough up two years ago. Why are they rehashing old stuff?

I don't think they're doing it specifically so they can play in cold weather.

I just figure other cities want in on all the action that comes from having a Super Bowl.

Can't really blame 'em.

BINGO!!!

It's like the Olympics.

of course, but there are a poo ton of moron fans that just want to see the superbowl played in sub-zero temperatures every year

and then when an clunker SB is played in conditions resembling the 81 AFCCG, then everyone will be over that.

I'm all for this, one of the reasons many fans love the game is because the NFL doesn't care if the weather is crap they play anyway. Super Bowl should be the same way.

Here is an idea, how about the super bowl is played at the home stadium of the team with the best record. So cities can put more pressure on organizations to win.

Superbowls take years of planning.

Peter King amusingly pointed out that the temperature in Baltimore today was actually seven degrees warmer than that in New Orleans
