in hindsight, perhaps...and if that's the way it was taken, then I apologize to you, the op and anyone that was offended. I was trying to refer to the same post that Mr. Scot was talking about someone thinking Vince was going straight to the hall of fame etc.

Wow...amazing how the insults rain down endlessly on VY and Jamarcus Russel. Yet when Ryan Leaf finally went to jail after the millionth time of fugging up, not much insult was thrown his way. As a matter of fact, the thread barely went to two pages. Gee I wonder why it's so much easier to trash those two QBs and their issues and not Ryan? A man who literally threw away his career, money, and life on drugs and showing the world that he enjoys being irresponsible by blaming the world for his issues.
Everything that folks are mocking Jamarcus and Vince for happened in the past. How old is Ryan Leaf and he's still fugging up and no one is mocking him for it?
Amazing how easy it is to mock other people's kids and not out own. Just saying.
So why are we bring up the Wonderlic again and using it to mock what Vince Young did at a young age?
As I said, amazing when Ryan Leaf finally went to jail after getting away his irresponsible behavior for the umpteenth time, not much mocking was taking place. No one questioned his intelligence nor made fun of his past. As a matter of fact, not much was made of it. Hmmmm
Funny that VY and JR gets mentioned folks run to the silly media created images created for them. U know the typical racial stereotyping of lacking in "intelligence" and "laziness." Not so with Leaf, who to this day, can't get his life together and have done more distruction to his football career than VY and JR combined. But we won't deal with that reality. We'll just keep mocking VY and JR everytime their name is mentioned with whatever stereotypical images the media reated of them while they were in the NFL because that must make u feel good.
FYI, we're not STUPID. Contrary to the false belief.
And, unlike many of u, I much rather wish all these athletes, who didn't quite get it right when they were younger, all the best as adults, and that includes Ryan Leaf. I hope he gets his act together someday. There is a kid out there who can learn from all of these QBs who had their dreams in their hands and threw them away.

So in a thread that's about Vince Young being an idiot for taking out a $300k dollar loan just so he can party when he's already going fuging broke (which is fuging stupid, btw) we're not allowed to make remarks about him being an idiot? The dude had a Wonderlic score of 6, which is fuging horrible, and it was relevant to the topic so I posted it. I don't care if he's white, black, green, yellow, purple or orange. That poo is stupid for anybody to do.
Also, according to you, we're supposed to be a bunch of apologists and talk about Ryan Leaf to balance out the act of talking about Vince Young or else it's racist. Is that right? Fug that poo. THIS is why everybody thinks you're an idiot dude. This is a Vince Young thread, not a Ryan Leaf one. Of course no one is gonna' come in talking about how much of an idiot Ryan Leaf is because that's already been well established (not to mention it's not even the topic of conversation). By coming in and throwing that poo around you're doing the exact same thing that you crusade so adamantly against on this site. Sounds to me like you're the one that's got some pent up racial issues.
FWIW, I don't know where you've been but Ryan Leaf gets made fun of all the time. The Leaf story is kind of old now, he was drafted the same year is Peyton F. Manning. Yeah he fuged up recently, and he also got his time in the spotlight for it.
Ryan Leaf is an idiot and possibly the biggest draft bust in history. There, happy?

Leaf's definitely in the argument.
Russell's actually got slightly better career stats, but nothing remarkable and he got a much higher payday. The amount of the payday - plus he's way more recent and thus higher in people's memories - is probably what gets Russell labeled as the biggest bust ever.
It'd help the discussion to see their contracts compared with inflation adjusted numbers.
(no, I'm not gonna attempt to do that)

I've always thought of Leaf as more stupid and egotistical than crazy.
