signs a three year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs... Now that we've cut Gamble, I'm scared of our CB situation, but we're only ~3 - 4 million under cap.

I think Gettleman is still working on clearing space.

I'm happy with the Josh's, but I really want to re-sign Captain and draft a guy OR get a decent CB in FA.

I'd really hope we bring Cap back. He was a big part in allowing Kuechly to shut down the middle of the field.

Curious though, does anyone know what is going on with James Dockery? I keep hearing about the Joshs but I thought Dockery at least deserves a shot to compete for a spot.

You really don't want Dunta. He's too slow to play CB. He kept his mouth shut and tried his hardest while he was in ATL so i won't knock him for anything other than ability. He had his moments though.

Relax. It is a buyer's market, there are plenty of vets out there. There are 20+ rookie cornerbacks coming into the league this year.

I don't remember much about Dockery, I'll try to go watch all the snaps he plays on Game Rewind.

I do know that Norman has some serious coverage skills if he'll just trust himself enough to press. Thomas played really well too.

Norman needs help over the top to keep from getting beat deep, but what he went through is not uncommon for rookies, as you probably know.

Norman started because Hurney sucked, not because he was ready. However, he now has the experience and, hopefully, the proper mindset to succeed.

Dockery was good at times in college, but was not consistent. He is solid depth.

I'm thinking we're gonna end up drafting a guy like Xavier Rhodes in the 2nd and starting him from day 1.

You're assuming he falls to the 2nd, which I don't think he will. I think he'll be the 2nd CB taken and it'll be in the mid 1st round.

I'd kill to land Milliner.

Yeah, admittedly, I haven't checked on his draft stock since the combine and that was when he was projected to go in the 2nd round. But, with his size and the way he numbers shook out at the combine, I can imagine he won't last 'til then.

I would think that three, possibly four, cornerbacks go in the 1st round.

Milliner
Rhodes
Trufant
Banks (maybe)

I wouldn't mind Banks either and I think the kid out of California (I think that's right) is going to be a sleeper.

I would love to get a top CB but I'd rather it be in FA bc he'd be able to contribute immediately w/o the rookie liability. However, I'd lean more to a top OL player to give Cam more time.
