Funny how this time last year everyone was saying they would hate to have Munnerlyn starting. Now everyone is so sad to see him go.

Not everyone, P. I've been having these recurring issues with throwing up in my mouth a little every time someone mentions his name, but it's began to ease up a bit the last couple days...

He's always been the equivalent of a AAAA baseball player to me.

I dont care. Capt is nothing more than a nickle.
We still have some decent options at cb and who could play nickle with Thomas, Dockery, and Norman.
If we lose Capt, we definitely be making a play at a corner in FA or through the Draft (Trufant).
Im not worry about losing Captain.

If Captain is gone, so much for the lie that we plan to set ourselves up to draft BPA.

Munnerlyn is good and a player the Panthers desperatly need to keep..but not overpay desperate. If he gets starter money then thats all the poison pill the org needs. Spend starting cb money on a starting cb! Sit down Drayton Florence.

I would kill for Talib! Lol or Sean Smith.

DRC is good but you gotta keep on that emotional rollercoaster for him to stay motivated.

He is a good to very good slot cornerback which is important considering how many 3 wide receiver sets you see in the NFL these days. In a pinch he can fill in the starter position however he is definitely a liability against taller WR's.( Pretty much all of them)

However as a team trying to work it's way into a little bit of cap flexibility, you cannot, I repeat cannot pay a nickle back starting corner back money.
