My hope in a starting caliber LG.

LG rather than RG?

Amini made strides....if he continues where he left off that won't be that bad

No, I got them switched up- thanks. RG is the need, biggest immediate IMO.

We have brought in a bunch of guys. I am curious as to how many Rivera was consulted with? Are these Gettlemen signings? Or are he and Rivera on the same page? I would hope it is the latter, cuz this is a lot of guys. With the potential for even more to come, I just want to believe my GM and Coach are of the same mind when building the team.

Also, I was of the, we are who we are until the draft, mindset. But, because of all the activity so far, it is damm hard to believe we will go a whole month without addressing upgrades. I say this because, imo, we are good to go right as of now. But there are still upgrades at key positions availabe.

Does Gettlemen think we are set until the draft? Or will he continue to wheel and deal his way to build his team? I see him going about his job, and when an opportunity arises, doing what he needs to do to make this team better.

Ah hellz, I don't know.

Sign vet OG and vet NT. Draft WR in the first round, safety in the second.

Profit.

Its like I'm seeing myself in the mirror

Better yet, sign OG sign NT.

Trade down 5-8 spots pick up extra second...

1st. Best WR available

2nd. Best Safety available

2nd. BPA

Profit.

this would be beyond ideal

I know a guy who knows a guy who has a guy on the inside who says they're looking to move the team to Alaska

I hate you.

I really think Gettleman and Rivera have the same mindset. There both football guys. Blackburn is definetly a Rivera type of guy. From everything I have read/heard, these guys are on the same page.

If they can get a veteran guard then it sets them up nicely to also pick bpa and then develop some more mid and late round guys at our areas of need.

    • You can't beat some good fried frog legs. Only thing I don't like about them is how sticky they are.
    • I can see where someone might be wondering what the Original Poster's views on this issue may have been.  However, it seems to me that the Original Post was extremely clear on the idea of our country increasing immigration as a means to reduce world poverty.  Another approach is needed.
