Austin, Rhodes, Richardson, and Vaccaro.

I highly suspect our pick will be 1 of those 4

i have a tough time limiting it to just four. i mean right off the bat i could throw in there cyprien/vaccaro and i still get that feeling that allen will be a panther for some reason.

several ways we could go and i wouldn't be unhappy with any of them.

His size really concerns me. Steve Smith is a freak. He plays a helluva lot bigger than he actually is and he's tougher than fuging nails. Tavon is nowhere near as stoutly built as Smitty and I don't know how he'll hold up taking hits from NFL DBs and LBs going over the middle.

Tavon = small framed-overhyped-injury prone-gimmick player. He may show flashes of brilliance from time to time on the next level, but I see him fizzling out like every other small, overrated WR coming into the NFL.

Tavon did not miss one game due to injury in his life, and indeed never missed a practice his whole collegiate career. The injury prone remark is not accurate in the slightest.

I wish he were bigger. But pound for pound he might be the best player in the draft. I just don't know if he can stay healthy. This is the NFL, not college.

It is what it is. A gamer is a gamer. I know what you're saying about the NFL and all, but there are big strong dudes with bad intentions at the collegiate level also. If Tavon was bigger, he wouldn't be Tavon, and we wouldn't be having the discussion because he'd likely be gone by the third pick.

he's stayed healthier than most coming thru college. injuries happen, tho. it might seem like it, but he'll be no more prone to injury than anyone else.

I hope some teams makes the mistake to take him that high. The bills are notorious for making dumb moves like that.

I think it is a moot point talking about Austin. Just dont see him falling to 14. Think Tampa Bay sees him as their Smitty and wont let him pass them.

Smity this and that - dudes there isnt ever going to be another Smitty - hes a one off - forget finding a clone - next number 1 receiver for us will have forge his own id over a season - hopefuly one of a deep playoff run.

Actually Austin isnt a Smitty clone. Austin will be better than Smitty.

Blasphemy!

Even if you believe it to be true, no need to go there.

/End melodrama

There is only one 89. We will never see the likes of him again in our lifetime. All things being equal, Smitty is the best.
