Solid win for Team USA as they get a 4-2 win over France.

Justin Faulk and Jamie McBain both tallied an assist in today's game.

I checked some statistics and Faulk ranks second in the tournament in assists and ranks first in defense-man scoring (points).

The U.S. just got a huge boost, David Backes from St. Louis will join the team (since the Blues were eliminated from playoff contention) in hopes of bringing the gold back to America.

From Rotoworld

Justin Faulk is playing standout hockey for the United States at the IIHF World Championships in Sweden and Finland.

The Hurricanes' defenseman has registered four assists in four games and is playing heavy minutes in all game situations. We have long been touting Faulk as a player to watch. He is now a player to draft. Don't wait too late to select him in your pools next season.

Another solid day for Justin Faulk as he tallies another assist in Team USA's win over Germany.

Canada also got a boost from Canes players as Eric Staal tallied an assist and Jeff Skinner had the game winning goal in Canada's 2-1 win over the Czech's.

First things first, Canada beat Slovenia in OT today and will advance as the 1st or 2nd seed in group A; depending on the outcome of the Switzerland-Belarus game tomorrow (Canada needs a Swiss loss in regulation).

USA is currently the 2nd seed in group B, but can advance as the number one seed with a win over Slovakia tomorrow.

The Czech Republic are in a win-or-go home game against Norway tomorrow. The Czech's need a win in regulation to move on to the quarterfinals.

Remember the top four in each group advance. Also I believe the U.S.'s game will be televised tomorrow. Game time is 11:15 (I believe), if you can; tune in.

Canada does finished up their game yesterday and will advance as the second seed from Group A, due to the Swiss win over Belarus.
