I remember their howling at all the embassies that lost people due to terrorist attacks when Bush was President, those Republican House panels like totally raked him over the coals

For any of this to make any sense at all, you have to first accept the idea that Obama and Clinton hate our troops and secretly want them to die even though it makes them look bad, hey its tough being a Muslim Socialist Kenyan who Hates America And Wants It To Fail and a LEZZIE LIBRUHL who let her husband chear while also being very ugly and a bit too smart to land a real hunk like Mitt Romney instead of sweater wearing dope smoking hippie draft dodger

wait the draft dodger thing cancels out

Oh please the right wing media machine has the biggest Viagra-induced boner in hopes of a vast Obama administration coverup. That is all this is about. God forbid Republicans actually gave a goddamn about creating jobs or doing something good for this country. What a bunch of shitheels.

put the right wing media to the side.

don't you agree the way this was handled from the start was just horrible? why go with the spin job to begin with?

I remember that weekend, the video in question WAS causing issues, it was a big story and there were many many protests. So later they found out maybe it wasn't the deal here.

Hey also I never heard any mention of the Republicans cutting funding for embassy security, you would think that a committee really wanting to get to the bottom of things might consider stuff like that as well but apparently not.

Is it politically motivated now? Or when the media, state dpt, and the white house, covered it up during the height of election season? According to Nordstrom, Hillary was the only 1 authorized to give the stand down orders or diplomatic properties. but I guess he, Hicks and Thompson are conspiracy theorists too? maybe you should all watch the hearings and collect all the facts instead of spewing out the crap regurgitated by the liberal media? I'll take the testimony of ranked officials who actually served in Benghazi over Ariana Huffington or chris matthews, or whoever you get this crap from.

If one more liberal bitches about funding when we're giving cellphones to poor people and EBT cards can be used in casinos and strip clubs, my head just might explode.

If you listened to the hearing, Hillary blamed the security on the RSO...guess who testified yesterday...the RSO.  He requested items and was ignored.  Way to pay attention CWG.

the dems want everyone else to be held accountable and to pay for things. but God forbid the spotlight is turned on them.

again. im not saying its some underground conspiracy. its almost insulting and arrogant to start with some marching orders and is if nobody will notice or say anything and then it crumbles.

if what hap was a slam dunk, then there would be no need for spin.

but the state dept and whoever else is in the cat bird seat has had a LONG time to get their story straight which is equally embarassing.

No one argues that the situation that occurred in Cairo could have been seen as the result of a video made by a coptic christian...you know...someone FROM that area.  But the moron that did the Ctrl-C/Ctrl-V to say that's what happened in Libya is the person that should be called out.

I still would like to hear from one person that was actually IN Benghazi that night.  Not Tripoli.

We would all like to hear from people in Benghazi that night. but as testified yesterday, they're either dead or ordered to secrecy. These three men have risked alot to bring this info to the American public. And we turn it right into another, " dems vs. repubs" arguement. What a shame. They should be taken as seriously as the risks they faced.

washington post published an article today verifying 12 sets of changes to the talking points, in Rices reports. With the intention of diverting radical islam from the responsibilty of the attacks. I guess the post hypocracy only goes so far?

Yeah, cause there's nothing to see here ....

The White House held an off-the-record briefing with reporters on Friday afternoon to discuss recent revelations about the Benghazi investigation, sources familiar with the meeting tell POLITICO.

The meeting began around 12:45 p.m. and postponed the daily, on-the-record White House press briefing to 1:45 p.m. White House press secretary Jay Carney did not respond to a request for confirmation of the meeting.

The off-the-record session was announced to reporters in the wake of an ABC News report showing that White House and State Dept. officials were involved in revising the now-discredited CIA talking points about the attack on Benghazi.

Emails obtained by ABC News show that State Dept. spokesperson Victoria Nuland requested that the CIA scrub references to an Al Qaeda-linked group, which, Nuland told White House officials, “could be abused by members [of Congress] to beat up the State Department for not paying attention to warnings."
